Master of Science in Respiratory Care

The respiratory care program at UT San Antonio is designed to prepare excellent clinicians. Our program provides students with a strong foundation in clinical practice, education, and research. As an entry-to-practice program, no prior health care experience is required for admission.

In 2017, the program was reviewed by the Commission on Accreditation for Respiratory Care (CoARC) and received a 10-year approval indicating full compliance with all accreditation standards. The Master of Science in Respiratory Care is fully accredited by  andcan be found on the CoARC website.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a regionally accredited institution
  • No prior health care experience required
  • Complete all prerequisite coursework
  • Two letters of reference are recommended
