Jon Courand, M.D., F.A.A.P. is a Professor and Vice Chair of Pediatrics and Assistant Dean for Well鈥態eing at UT San Antonio. A former Pediatric Critical Care physician and current Hospitalist, he directed the Pediatric Residency Program for 10 years. He leads wellness initiatives nationally, chairs the AAMC/CFAS Wellness Committee, co鈥慸eveloped the TRRI tool, and created the Institutional Compassion Course. He received the 2022 Presidential Teaching Award.
